Why I created
The Grounded Flame
The Grounded Flame originally started as a simple, spiritually inspired social media account. It was a space where I minimally shared perspectives, experiences, and moments that I found pivotal about my own journey. A planned faceless account.
Months went by, then came one of the most pivotal moments in my journey. After attending an Advanced Retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza, a truly life-changing experience that expanded the way I saw myself, my healing and what I believed was possible. My CPTSD was gone. My tendonitis and other workout/ lifting related injuries were healed. My nervous system received a reset.
I realized how much I wanted to share. More importantly, I realized that if I truly wanted to help others find their voice, I first had to fully open mine. That meant being willing to speak honestly about my own experiences with trauma, learning to hold them with grace, and to show that healing is possible and had a face; to offer encouragement, compassion, and empathy to those who may feel like they’re still stuck where I once was.
That journey has brought me to a place in life I could have only dreamed of a few years ago… even just one year ago.
Through decades of lived experience, countless years of research, therapeutic work, self-reflection, healing modalities, and extensive conversations with others, I noticed something...
There is a gap between efficiently moving from unconscious living to intentional living.
There is an incredible amount of information available about trauma, pain, and why we become who we are, attachment theories and diagnosis. But I found far less that helps people truly bridge the space between moving out of survival mode and intentionally changing the way they see themselves, their lives, and the world around them.
For me, healing wasn’t just about understanding my past. It was about changing my perspective, becoming aware of my thought patterns, learning how to challenge my beliefs, and developing the self-awareness necessary to move toward a life in wholeness, abundance, growth, joy, gratitude, and authenticity.
That is the bridge I feel called to build.
Not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it’s like to be stuck in the in-between. I know what it feels like to search for hope while wondering if the life you long for is actually possible.
I also know that it is.

Why “Grounded Flame”?
The Grounded is represented by the lotus.
The lotus grows through the mud before it ever reaches the surface to bloom. A powerful symbol of purity, resilience, and spiritual awakening, the lotus shows the path to clear the mind and reach peace.
It represents learning to become grounded within yourself, to develop roots that aren’t dictated by circumstances or your past, but by who you choose to become.
The Flame is reminiscent of the phoenix.
It represents rebirth. There are seasons in life where we have to let old identities, limiting beliefs, fears, and stories fall away so that something more authentic can emerge.
The flame symbolizes renewal, transformation, and the courage to begin again.
